Hey guys!

I heard that Sky/Shine are to release the 2008 series on DVD - does anyone know if this is true and if so when it might be coming out? It's just that it's getting on since the series finished - I expected to see it by now!

In about half a dozen shots when Wolf & Oblivion do Earthquake.

Not available anywhere where I live which has annoyed me greatly, so I've had to order it off the internet, send it to my home address and then get my parents to mail it to me here at uni.

well i wont be buying! if only the brought out the classic glads on dvd's then id be buying, now that would be worth the money!

I was so looking forward to watching the DVD, but the incompetent fools in Bangor decided no one would buy it there and didn't have it brought in.

It's a really good dvd. At first i was hoping for all the episodes to be there in a box set type format, but what they've opted for instead is a 2hr 10min overview of the whole series. The glads giving their views on the show and certain contenders. Eg, Oblivion gives his view of Joel, Atlas talks about Koing and so on... There's some footage of the contenders training for duel. wall, etc. They also talk about how they felt about their given names and the way they wanted to come accross.

I still haven't seen the series as I'm tied into a contract with Virgin, but overall enjoyed this dvd. It was done in a similar way to those "i love the 90's' sort of programes.

I bought mine in Zavvi (used to be Virgin) in Cardiff for £15 but you can get it online from either http://www.play.com or http://www.hmv.com for about £12.99

I agree with Jon G. Was expecting a Box set style with every episode included.
Having said that the DVD is very good with some unseen footage.
Really wish they could've included say, the Quarter Finals/ Semis & Final on an additional disc.

Oh well, I should've known it wouldn't be an entire series on one disc. How disappointing!

I want to buy it to support the show, but on the other hand, I'm disappointed that it's not an entire series on DVD with extras.

the thing for me is this is like over 2 hours of backstage and juicy stuff - stuff i want to watch!!

i've seen the series a few times - have it on DVD's and on sky + too, so i would never buy a box set of the series...this however i will buy
