2008 Series on DVD?

if u want backstage stuff go on youtube, all of the 5min highlite shows are filled with backstage fun! loads of interviews + hunter and jet present it!

indeed hogan, but of course all that footage was on the sky site first! :lol:

i can confirm however that even not having seen any parts of the new DVD that those backstage interviews aren't the back stage stuff on the DVD 8-)

I got the DVD for my birthday and as a treat, watched it in bed this morning. I have to say it's worth a watch, but not brilliant.

Despite it lasting for over 2 hours, only 6 Gladiators are interviewed (in bits and pieces, but at least a fair amount). Enigma, Panther, Battleaxe, Spartan, Atlas and Oblivion. So no Tempest, Inferno, Predator, Tornado, Destroyer or Ice!

The best parts were seeing the contender training and how the studios were transformed with the pool. Other than that if you've seen the series and all the videos on the Sky One website, then I cant totally justify spending £12.99. Nice keepsake for proper fans though.

Well very true actually. Maybe I was being cynical in my now older age haha! Just not much to what I havent seen before.

On a more positive note Phill, was great to hear the interviews from the Gladiators we did!

It is definitely not on the DVD, it isnt even mentioned - the Celebrity Special and the Legends too extensively.

As for when it will air, not a clue I'm afraid

Spotted the DVD in Asda, £11.71 (WHY 71pence??? Answers on a postcard please...) - I may have to save it for Crimbo though, seeing as I'm a POOR student again... that and I bought three albums this morning... and spent £88 in Next...
