My copy arrived today, I actually really enjoyed it, I found it very interesting listening to the Glads talk about their events and stuff.

oooooh! ASDA you say? Scary place. I might venture in but will take a lot of guts! Went to look at the heaquarters in Leeds a couple of months back, stange looking people. I was also invited to the buisness commities at the Royal Armouries where they were you could see all the armour used in the Lord of the Rings, when you saw the orcs and the men in suits you could hardly tell the difference! But if you say Jet is interviweing I may well dorne my invisibilty coat and enter! Then again no Tempest interview! I'll spend money elsewhere... Like pound-stretcher :D (I am a student!)

ASDA...."she who must be obeyed" has gone! please, please be in stock!

those that know me will find this funny, i asked her if she'd pick it up on her way home after training, she said what? me go and pick that up of all things dressed in scruffy trackies and all sweaty - "i don't fink so!!"

...SO she came home, got changed etc and maybe, just maybe if i've been a good boy be picking up some goodies to watch it with! 8-)

got it...watched it!

it is good, great backstage stuff and info with it being atlas, battleaxe, spartan, oblivion, enigma and atlas doing the talking - atlas cracks me up, my fave bloke and if you watch it you'll see why, i just love the bloke, he's so funny and he doesn't even know.......plus there's one bit i must of missed in the series - they show during a gaunlet game where he [atlas] shuts the contender out at the last man position....watching it back when celebrating he falls over big time and trust me the DVD cost like 13 quid, but to me it was worth it for that alone!...i saw the incident first and could not stop laughing - proper belly laughing! and our lass was like - "what you laughing at??" i went back and showed it her and we had 5 mins of rewinding it and slo-moing it.....oh man, my abs will be sore tomorrow!!

It's £9.90 at Woolworths now! Funny story about you getting your copy Phill. Did Panther get spotted? haha.

Thats something I noticed too. And Oblivion bumps into Kevin at the time he was injured.

My only gripe is that all the Gladiators aren't interviewed and no mention of Cyclone. But well worth £9.90 which is the lowest I've seen it ;)

£9.90!? I went searching for ages trying to find an asda and paid £13.71 not £12.71. Ah well! I enjoyed the dvd anyway.

it's only money at the end of the day - can't take it with us, can we?

although it would be nice if the gladiators themselves recieved money from sales, as after all they are the stars and why we buy, but alas 'tis not the case, the gladiators themselves recieve no payment from DVD sales :|

^ Do they get repeat fees as well, for Sky showing each episode about 500 times?!
